Frances Carmella (Vaccaro) Marotta, 99, of Medford passed away on Sunday, December 21st, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Born in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Anna (Palmeri) Vaccaro. Frances was an avid reader and music lover, as well as an excellent seamstress and an amazing cook.
Frances was the beloved wife of the late Philip P. Marotta, and the devoted mother of Frank Marotta and his wife Carolyn, Paul Marotta and his wife Nan, Robert Marotta and the late Philip Marotta. She was the loving grandmother of Phillip and Mia, and the dear sister of the late Vito Vaccaro and his wife Josephine, and the late Rose Nazzaro and her husband Ricky. Frances is also survived by her cherished grand-dog, Ruby.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30th from 9 to 10 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford with a service in the funeral home at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
