Bortone, Clino of Dedham, December 20, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Emma (Panella). Devoted father of Rocco G. Bortone of Oakham, MA, Maria V. Brewer and her husband Stephen of Norwood. Father-in-law of Elizabeth Bortone. Grandfather of Clino, Billy, David, Nicholas and Joshua.
Clino was born in Italy and immigrated to America. Married to his loving wife, Emma she followed him here and so began the next chapter of their lives. He wasn't afraid of hard work and worked to provide for his family. He retired from General Motors and had many more hours to spend with his family and his hobbies. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. His garden was something to be admired and he was so proud of the fruits and vegetables that he lovingly grew. He enjoyed fishing whenever the opportunity presented itself. He was so proud of his children and supported them in their activities whenever possible. Once his grandsons arrived, all bets were off. They were each the apples of his eye. Outside the family, he was happy to get to know about anyone and was a very loyal friend. He was well known for not saying many words but when his stubborn streak hit, he would tell you exactly what he thought. He loved his family so much and his absence is already tremendously felt.
Clino was a member of the U.A.W.
