Elizabeth (Liz) Padilla Penrose, 63, passed away on December 18, 2025. She was born on March 28, 1962, in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Elizabeth was employed for 23 years at Boston Medical Center, where she worked as a patient service representative and was known for her dedication, kindness, and professionalism.
Liz was very generous and always showed up for her family. She was a loving presence whose support, strength, and compassion touched everyone who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Victor Padilla and Ursulina (Morales) Padilla, and by her brother, Victor Padilla Jr.
Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond Penrose, Jr.; her sons, Shawn Padilla and Adrian Padilla; her grandchildren, Jerrod, Adrian Jr., Destiny, Michelle, Jatrell, and Eliza; her great-grandchildren, Meillani and Jase; her brother, Felix Padilla and his wife Judy; and her sisters, Rosa Elba Padilla, Aida Luz Padilla Serrano, Magdalena Padilla, Rosemarie Padilla and Cynthia Padilla; her loving aunt, Miriam Ortiz; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory.
Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury.
