
Patrick J. Ronca, 86 of South Boston - Beloved Husband of 66 years to Eileen F. (Lane) Ronca.
Loving Father of Phillip J. Ronca of Braintree (Ret. Boston Police Department), Donna M. Feeney of Rochester, NH, Patricia A. Lee of South Boston and Tina M. Ronca-Magoon of Holbrook. Devoted Papa of Jillian M. (Feeney) Elalaoui, Jacky Feeney, Kaitlyn M. (Lee) Galvao, Michala B. Ronca, Meghan E. Lee, Patrick J. Ronca, Michael P. Ronca, Barbara E. Ronca, Michael F. Magoon, Jr. and Melanie E. Magoon. Great Grand Papa of Ava, Ella and Jackson Feeney, Zayne and Layla Elalaoui, Nolan Galvao and his newest grand baby Sophia Ronca. Patrick is also survived by his sister Mary Ronca, daughter-in-law Robin Ronca, sons-in-law Jacky Feeney, Martin Lee, Michael Magoon and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear friend Eugene Vaillancourt.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph (Mike) and Margaret (O'Neil) Ronca, brothers Nazzarino (Eddie), Leo, Francis (Sirecho), Michael (Major), Joseph and sister Margaret (Peggy Ronca) Benjamin, his in-laws George and Janet (Sinclair) Lane, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Patrick was proud to be from South Boston, especially the "Lower End" He spent his early years playing football and softball with his friends and helping his father in his barbershop. To honor his Country, he joined both the Massachusetts National Guard as well as the Army Reserves. Patrick gave back to his community by coaching hockey, softball and football winning two championships.
Patrick's most cherished days were spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was their biggest supporter and wouldn't miss an opportunity to show how proud he was of them. His love will be forever felt by his family.
Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street. South Boston on Friday, December 26th from 4-7 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Monica's Church, South Boston, Saturday at 10am. Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Neponset. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomas J. Fitzgerald Post VFW #561, 715 East Fourth Street, South Boston, MA 02127.
