Leo A. Martineau
Manchester-Leo A. Martineau, 82 died September 5, 2006 at the Villa Crest Health Care following a brief illness.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, on May 18, 1924 the son of Edmond and Rose (Messier) Martineau.
He served in the US Navy during WWII and held membershipin the American Legion Wm. Justras Post 41, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9347and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Prior to his retirement in 1985 he was an electrician at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 30 years. He also worked for Bellemore Heating Co..
Members of his family include his wife Arline (Demers) Martineau of Manchester, one daughter Mrs. Richard (Carol) Holmes of Derry. Two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
SERVICES: A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am in St. Pius X Church. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery.
