Joelene Milagro Cataquet (37) of Brockton died unexpectedly on December 14th in the city.
She was born in Stoughton, the beloved daughter of Janette Almeida and the late Domingo Ildefonso. Joelene worked as a nail technician, a profession that reflected her passion for helping others feel beautiful. She was also a talented artist who enjoyed art, hair styling, and makeup artistry. Joelene was well known for her beautiful smile, strong personality, and creative spirit, which left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
In addition to her loving mother Janette, she is survived by her stepfather, Lawrence Almeida; her four brothers, Jaime Cataquet, Lawrence Almeida Jr., Domingo Ildefonso Jr., and Victor Guerra; her two sisters, Laura Almeida and Anita Martinez; her cherished godson, Avian King Spurell; her grandparents; Lawrence Andre Almeida and Lynne Almeida, and Rosa E. Cataquet and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Saturday, December 27th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
