Donna M. Prendable, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her home in Charlestown. She was 66 years of age.
Donna was born in Somerville on November 18, 1959, a daughter of the late Arthur F. “Archie” Prendable and Agnes K. (McKenna) Prendable. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School System and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1977. Donna worked at Tuttle's Dry Cleaners on Main Street in Charlestown where she was a daily fixture for over 30 years. Recently for the past 2 years, she was working in the Custodial Services Department for the City of Boston at Boston Police Department Headquarters. Donna loved her family especially her daughter and son-in-law and 2 grandsons above all else.
Donna is the devoted mother of Erin Rego and her husband Jason. She is the loving Nana of Dominic Rego and Drew Rego. She is the dear sister of the late Michele Chandler. She is the loving aunt to Shane Chandler and his fiancé Meghan and is also survived by her many loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Donna’s visiting hours on Sunday afternoon, December 21, 2025, from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will be private.
