Joe Brown Goodroe, Sr., 75, of Berrien County passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Magnolia Manor in Moultrie. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mr. Goodroe will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born January 8, 1950, in Pulaski County, Mr. Goodroe was the son of the late Richard Thomas Goodroe and Jennie Todd Goodroe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Chandler; five brothers, Richard Goodroe, Joseph Goodroe, Ervin Goodroe, Jim Goodroe and Steve Goodroe; and one sister, Ruth Goodroe Akins. He retired as a truck driver from Sanderson Farms. When he was not working, he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the outdoors.
Mr. Goodroe is survived by his wife, Patsy Evelyn Goodroe of Tifton; his children and their spouses, Shelia and Tony Kearce of Tifton; Joe Jr. and Monica Goodroe of Perry and Jennifer and Corey Sanchez of Moultrie; one sister, Betty McDaniel of Perry; six grandchildren, Austin Kearce, Britney Wilson, Kayla Sanchez, Kaden Sanchez, Richard Goodroe and Kaylee Sanchez; and seven great-grandchildren.
