Jason Lee Patterson, 38, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Monday, December 15, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held 11AM, Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Robert Couey and Jeff Newberry officiating. The interment will follow in the Arbor Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jason was born December 4, 1987, in Tifton, Georgia, to Henry and Blondine Handley Patterson. He was a 2006 graduate of Fitzgerald High School where in played in the band. He enjoyed History, Literature, English, and shooting guns, and especially hanging out with his friends. He was most recently employed as a clerk at the Quality Inn in Fitzgerald. Mr. Jason was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church, in Douglas, Georgia.
He is survived by his parents: Henry Gordon & Blondine Handley Patterson; his godchild, Benedict Campell Schroeder; an aunt, Darlene Hopson; an uncle, Tim “Block” Handley & Wendy; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
