YARMOUTH-Lisa Russo passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2025, at the age of 62.
Lisa was born on October 11, 1963, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Frank J. Russo Sr. and Edna “Mickie” Russo (DePrizio). She was the youngest of four children and is survived by her siblings, Frank J. Russo Jr., George T. Russo, and Linda Varano.
Much of Lisa’s childhood was spent in Revere, Massachusetts, where her days were filled with adventure, a deep sense of freedom, and the simple joy of being surrounded by others. These cherished qualities became part of who she was and were lovingly passed on to her children, Richard Lupo Jr., Christopher Lupo, Layla Zellou, and Karina Zellou, who remain her greatest legacy.
She also deeply adored her grandchildren—Isabella Elder, Monty Lupo, and Gavin Getchell—who brought her immense joy.
Lisa had a knack for all things beauty and loved getting pampered. She always had her hair, makeup and nails done with a stylish outfit on.
Lisa had a way of lighting up any room she walked in; she accepted all walks of life and appreciated getting to know every person in the room. Anyone who knew her, wanted to be in her presence. Lisa was warm, welcoming and kind. She wore her heart on her sleeve and always gave people the benefit of the doubt. Lisa is, and will always be, one of a kind.
We trust that she is now in heaven, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and watching over us with love. Though she is no longer with us physically, her presence will always remain in our lives.
Lisa will be missed dearly.
Her celebration of life will take place in late Spring.
