Elaine M. Couillard, 80, of Winsor Avenue, Johnston, passed away on Saturday December 13th in the HopeHealth Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of Gerald J. Couillard. They had been married for 56 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Elena (Narducci) Montella. She had lived in Johnston for 26 years previously living in Warwick.
Elaine had worked for United Health in the claims department before retiring. She had also been a hair stylist with the former Shepard’s Department Store.
Elaine enjoyed reading, traveling, antique shopping, movies, and theater. She had also loved anything that had to do with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Claudine Couillard of Johnston and Christine Kuzman of Naples, FL. She was the grandmother of Joseph Greco, Abigail Kuzman, Kaitlyn Greco and Colby Kuzman. She was the sister of William Montella of Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday December 23rd at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Her burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 23rd from 8:30am to 9:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
