James “Jim” Holloway, 76, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Ike Branch officiating. A eulogy will be given by Earl Perry. Mr. Holloway will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
John Perry, Robert Garey, George Tomberlin, Jamie Harrell, Michel “Boo Boo” Watson and Jeff Roach will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Crossroad Choppers Crew.
Born September 18, 1949, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Mr. Holloway was the son of the late Roy Glenn Holloway and Margaret M. Atchison Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Holloway, Sr. and Bobby Garner. He was the owner and operator of Crossroad Choppers in Tifton, and he attended Tifton’s First Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Holloway was a very giving person and showed his heart for giving by holding benefits to help raise money for anybody that needed help. His benefits also helped several organizations in the Tift Area.
To know Mr. Holloway was to love him.
Mr. Holloway is survived by his wife, Ann Mitchell Holloway of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Steve Ganey of Tifton; a niece, Sunshine Gonzales; and a nephew, Tommy Holloway, Jr.
