Ramona K. Nelson, 72, of Smithfield, passed away on December 11 at Miriam Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Metropolis, Illinois, she was the daughter of John Dye. Ramona built a life defined by quiet dedication and care for others. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant, where she was known for her reliability, warmth, and attention to detail.
Ramona shared 40 years with her devoted partner, John Williams. She is also survived by his mother, Toni Williams; her sons, Fred and his wife Traci of San Diego, California, and Christopher Willmon. Her family was at her bedside when she passed, a reflection of the deep bonds she cherished.
