Ellen Delane Brewer, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, December 14, 2025, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dusty Stoey officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the services.
Mrs. Brewer was born August 16, 1957, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Charles Leon and Myra Joyce Latham Jones. She worked for Fitzgerald Blanching, now known as American Blanching Company, and several local grocery stores. She babysat and loved to crochet and do word searches. Mrs. Brewer was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Brewer; children and their spouses: Jason & Nicole Brewer, Jacob & Anna Brewer, Melissa Huffman, Joye Lynn & Cody Griffin and Wes & Valarie Brewer; 14 grandchildren; sisters: Anissa & Dow McClelland and Kim Jones; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Huffman and a brother, Michael Jones.
