Obituary

Geraldine A. (Cooper) Mullin, 88, of Westport Point, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Mill Brook Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late James M. Mullin, they shared 65 years of marriage.

Mrs. Mullin was born in Attleboro, daughter of the late Harry E. and Carolyn A. (Reynolds) Cooper and had been a longtime resident of Westport. A graduate of Framingham State College, she attained her Master's Degree in education from Rhode Island College. She taught for many years at Bliss School, Attleboro, Falls Elementary, North Attleboro and later became the reading specialist for the North Attleborough school system. Following retirement, she substituted in the Westport Community Schools.

Survivors include her son: James M. Mullin, Jr. and his wife Laura Jeanne of Westport Point; her 3 siblings: Virginia A. Buchanan of Attleboro and Westport, Paul G. Cooper of Westport and Cynthia V. Scheller of Westport; her 4 grandchildren: Kathleen O'Meara, James M. Mullin III, Christopher Mullin and Sara Mullin; 4 great grandchildren: Rosalind, Silas, Luciela and Eliot; along with many nieces and nephew, including Andrew Robertson who was thought of as a second son.

She was the sister of the late Carolyn C. Kingsbury and Suzanne Cooper.

Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, MA 02790 at 10:00 A.M.

Memorial visitation will be Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 1-4 P.M.

Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
