Obituary

Born December 1, 1948 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Scheib passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Kathy grew up in Tamaqua, PA, where she met and married the love of her life, the late Richard Scheib Sr. Together they started a life with their two children rooted in devotion, laughter, and faith. Their journey took them to New England, where they eventually settled in Derry, NH, welcomed their third child, and created a home that became a gathering place filled with warmth, traditions, and unconditional love.

A woman of quiet strength and steadfast dedication, Kathy dedicated over 25 years to Digital and later retired from UnitedHealthcare. She was deeply committed to service, giving her time to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, CHaD, Honor Flight, and many other organizations. Known for her generosity and faith, she and Richard served as Eucharistic Ministers sharing many memories and developing numerous friendships within their church community.

Above all, Kathy’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children Kimberly Speers (her husband Jeff), Richard Scheib Jr. (his wife Nicole), and Alicia Hill (her husband Charles); grandchildren Devann White (her husband William White), Zachery Scheib, and Sophia Hill, great-grandson Carter White, and her sister Katherine Krell (her husband Dennis). Kathy also had many extended family members; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She now reunites with Richard, continuing the legacy of love and service they built together.

Due to the repairs at St. Thomas Aquinas, services for Kathy will be held on Wednesday, December 17, at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, One South Road, Londonderry, New Hampshire. Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment with her husband Richard will be on Thursday, December 18th at 11:00am in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, DW Highway, Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kathy’s honor to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation care of “Team Zack Attack”, a cause that was especially close to her heart.
