Roberta Rogers Shore of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, at the age of 79.
Roberta grew up in Swampscott, MA, and graduated from Lasell Junior College in Newton, MA in 1966. She later moved to Manchester, CT, where she and her then- husband raised their two daughters.
Throughout her life, Roberta had an extraordinary gift for making things fit—perfectly. Whether it was coordinating an outfit, designing an event, or piecing together a puzzle, she found joy in creating balance and completeness. Her home reflected this same sense of connection, with every detail thoughtfully placed, as if each element belonged exactly where it was.
Roberta devoted countless hours to volunteer work at Temple Beth Sholom in Manchester, CT, as well as to the Sisterhood and local chapters of Hadassah in both CT and Nashua, NH. Her dedication and leadership earned her the honor of being named “Woman of the Year” twice.
As a freelance graphic designer, Roberta turned heads with her artistry and imagination. She was masterful at crafting invitations and centerpieces for any occasion, weaving together décor, attire, and clever themes to create events that were truly unforgettable. Every detail connected seamlessly, making each celebration feel complete.
Roberta believed that “Presentation is everything!” Her outfits were flawless—shoes, belt, purse, sunglasses, and jewelry perfectly coordinated. She will be remembered for her impeccable sense of style—and even more so for…yes… her hair. It was her signature brand, always perfectly shaped, always in place. Her footstone will read: “Never a hair out of place.”
In 2021, Roberta discovered a new passion—puzzles. She built a stand-up puzzle station in her home, and from there, the pieces truly fell into place. Over the next few years, she completed more than 300 puzzles, each ranging from 500 to 1,500 pieces. Roberta was also a frequent guest writer for PuzzleHobby.com, sharing reviews of her completed puzzles, often accompanied by fun facts about the illustrator or the subject matter. Just as in life, she found satisfaction in making every piece connect.
Roberta will be remembered in friendship and love. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elissa and David Pototsky; her two grandchildren, Elliot and CP Pototsky; and is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Nina Shore.
A celebration of Roberta’s life will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Temple Sinai in Sharon, MA. Shiva will take place at the Temple immediately following the memorial service and again on Sunday from 2:00–6:00 PM at Elissa and David’s home in Sharon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association or the COPD Foundation.
