Obituary

Audrey F. (Cole) Clark, 90, of Leicester died Tuesday, December 9th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 52 years, Gary F. Clark died in 2009. She leaves a son, Jeffrey A. Clark and his wife, Deborah of Leicester; five daughters, Susan L. Ford of N. Carolina, Donna M. Belanger and her husband, Douglas, Cheryl A. Badosa and her husband, John, Robin A. Wood and her companion Bruce Smith, Lisa M. Miller and her husband, Rodney all of Leicester; and Cher Bjorndal of New Brunswick, Canada who was considered a daughter; a brother, Jack Cole of Missouri; two sisters, Sandra Sulc of Canonsburg, PA and Marsha Kramer of Washington, PA. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Laureen "Cookie" Cecchime
Audrey was born in Washington, PA, the daughter of Samuel and Susan (Hreha) Cole. She dedicated more than 38 years to Coyne Laundry, where she worked with loyalty and pride until her retirement in 2007.
A woman of quiet faith, Audrey attended Christ Episcopal Church in Rochdale. In her free time, she found joy in the simple pleasures – playing rummy, trying her luck with scratch tickets, and settling in to watch her favorite channels, MSNBC and the Hallmark Channel.
Above all else, Audrey cherished her family. Time spent together was what mattered most to her, and those moments will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Her compassion and the quiet strength she shared with others will be deeply missed.
Calling hours are Saturday, December 13th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, followed by her funeral service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
