Kenneth DiBlasi passed away peacefully at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on December 8th. He was 81. Raised in Medford, Ken was the son of the late Salvatore and Lucille DiBlasi.
A life-long Medford resident, Kenneth enjoyed a career spanning over 30 years as a police officer in the City of Medford, achieving the rank of Captain and leading the patrol division. Ken enjoyed the game of golf. He also was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed fine finish carpentry which helped to keep his home beautiful.
The beloved husband of the late Sandra (Nelson) DiBlasi, Kenneth was the father of Philip DiBlasi and his wife Theresa. He was the brother of Joseph DiBlasi and the late Sammy DiBlasi.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday, December 11 from 4 – 8 PM. Relatives and friends may also gather at the main gate of Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, on Friday, December 12th at 11 AM for a graveside service.
