
Mr. LeRoy V. "Roy" Borgatti, a resident of Foxboro and beloved husband of Olga M. (Magliozzi) Borgatti, passed away at the Chelsea Soldiers Home in Chelsea following a lengthy illness. He was 87 years old.
Born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on September 14, 1938, he was the beloved son of the late Elario L. and Racleo H. Borgatti. Roy was a US Navy veteran, entering the military at Brockton, Massachusetts, on June 26, 1956 and receiving his Honorable Discharge from San Francisco, California, on September 15, 1959. Roy was employed by Osram Sylvania as an Outside Expediter for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed dancing, traveling, golfing and spending time with his beloved family. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Olga, Roy is survived by his loving daughter; Stefanie and her husband Robert Zutaut of Marion and Stacey and her husband Ron Landry of New Bedford, siblings; Joan C. Borgatti of Bourne, Gail F. and her husband William Cahill of Bradford, Maine, Brenda M. Bartlett of Manomet and Karen S. Potter of Wareham, step children; Katrina Fredriksen Cuscia of Foxboro and Joseph and his wife Jill Fredriksen of Medfield and six grandchildren four step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Dana Borgatti.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Corpus Christi Church, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road, East Sandwich on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
