Worcester – Allen K. Bombard, 86, of Worcester, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, December 8, 2025 in the Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Mr. Bombard is survived by two daughters, Elise Bombard of Thompson, CT and Andrea Bergeron of Clinton, MA; two sons, Craig Bombard of Worcester, MA and Darrin Bombard of Jefferson, MA; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Allen was born in Marlborough, MA son of the late Kenneth and Jeannette (Fricault) Bombard and is also predeceased by three brothers, Wayne Bombard, Richard Bombard and Ronald Bombard.
Mr. Bombard retired as a foreman from the Holden Sand & Gravel Company and previously worked as a self-employed general contractor and as a foreman at the former L. Farber Company.
In his later years, he devoted his skills and expertise to assist others, taking great pleasure in projects ranging from fixing sinks to patching roofs. He was known for his honesty, fairness, and commitment to quality work.
A lover of the great outdoors, Allen enjoyed moments spent hunting, fishing, playing golf, and simply enjoying nature. Yet, his greatest joy came from being the family's patriarch, where he passionately upheld traditions and created lasting memories with his loved ones.
Funeral services are being handled privately by the Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Bombard may be made to Saint Jude Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
