Margret Goodman, 90, of Mashpee, Massachusetts, was surrounded by the love of her family as she passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025. Margret was born in Prenzlau, Germany on January 20, 1935, the daughter of Martin and Margret Fiebig. She was predeceased by her brothers Klaus, Martin, and Peter.
Margret met her loving husband Robert in Germany in 1956. They were married in Munich in 1961 and enjoyed a beautiful marriage of more than 64 years. Margret is survived by Robert, along with her loving sons and their incredible wives: Geoff and Katy, Chris and Alida, and Tim and Moira. Margret also cherished time with her eight grandchildren and their spouses: Stephen and Jenn, Andrew and Maggie, Cole and Stephanie, Morgan and Richie, Lee, Henry, Jackson, and Brodie. While she never had an opportunity to meet her first great-grandchild, Kenji, in person, she adored him from afar through photos, videos and FaceTime.
Margret lived a full and amazing life. She loved spending time with family and friends, was an avid gardener, and in her earlier years a talented potter. She enjoyed long walks in nature and was particularly fond of strolls on South Cape Beach. She loved her weekly tennis with friends and was also an avid, if frustrated, golfer. Above all else, she was a caring and compassionate person who was always thinking of others and putting them first.
Margret was Omi to her grandchildren and Voosh to her sons and husband. She will be with us always. Schlaf tief, liebe Margret.
