Marvin Hoke Gentry, 78, of Rebecca, Georgia, died Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Rehab Center of South Georgia, in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Arp Baptist Church, in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. Ray Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Creek Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from, 6PM until 8PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Gentry was born January 14, 1947, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Hoke and Ruby Butts Gentry. He was a farmer and loved motorcycles. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of Arp Baptist Church.
He is survived by a close friend, Connie Kilgore; a nephew Kirk & Lynda Gentry; and a great niece, Rachel & Cody Crews.
