WEBSTER – Dennis Raymond Wasielewski, 67, passed away on December 4, 2025.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Dianne T. Wasielewski, and Marcia R. Azzaoui and her husband Mohammed, all of Webster; 2 brothers, Mark E. Wasielewski and his wife Jeri of Ellington, CT, and Matthew J. Wasielewski and his wife Cathy of South Portland, ME ; 5 nephews, Jeffrey, Zachery, Samir, Ahmed and Noah; 4 nieces, Kristen, Hannah, Molly and Amy; 2 great-nieces, Callan and Soli; and many cousins.
He was born in Webster on January 10, 1958, a son of the late Edward A. and Rita A. (Prokopowicz) Wasielewski and graduated from Bay Pay Regional High School in Charlton in 1976. He was a lifelong resident.
He worked as a salesman at Spag’s, Gatzke Hardware, Grossman’s and finally at Home Depot, retiring 5 years ago due to illness.
He was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica and a member and past grand knight of the Saint Joseph Knights of Columbus Council #12980 which recently merged with the Webster-Dudley Council #228. A 4th degree knight, he belonged to the John Cardinal Wright Assembly #1924 in Oxford. He was also an associate member of the PAV in Webster/Dudley.
He enjoyed doing carpentry work. He had been the recipient of the Partners in Education Award from Saint Joseph School.
His funeral will be held Thursday, December 11, from the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 10. Donations in his name may be made to Saint Joseph Elementary School, 47 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 01570 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
