Paul A. Nichols, 85, of Derry, NH died Wednesday November 26, 2025 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry. Paul was born in Goffstown, NH on July 17, 1940, a son of the late John and Cecile (Berwick) Nichols.
His youth brought him to many places and many different schools. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. He worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life, and was also a welder and worked as a security guard in his retirement. Paul enjoyed camping and puzzles and he also loved old cars and trucks.
He is survived by two step-daughters, Susan Gagne and Cathy Willette both of Derry, and several grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by many brothers, sisters and cousins.
Following cremation, private graveside services will be held in the spring at Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Carol.
The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
