
Carol A. (Campanella) Colangelo, age 86, a resident of the Eagles Landing community for over 20 years, formerly of Medford and East Boston, passed away at her home in the care of her family and hospice on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of Amando N. Colangelo, who passed away on November 21, 2000.
Born in Chelsea on December 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Campanella and the late Anna Black.
Carol was raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School.
Prior to retiring, she was employed as an accountant by Charles River Park in Boston.
Carol was a passionate, loyal and avid member of Red Sox Nation. She never missed a broadcast game and would often watch NESN’s replay of the Red Sox games.
Besides baseball, Carol enjoyed cooking and baking her famous Italian Christmas cookies, and above all, Carol loved her family and sharing her time with them. They were her entire world.
She is the mother of Beverly A. Robinson of Pelham, NH and her late husband John B. Robinson, grandmother of Kaitlin E. Wallace, Lyndsay N. Robinson and John W. Robinson, and great-grandmother to Jack and Michael Wallace. She is also survived by her grand-pup, Bentley. She had a special bond with him and loved him dearly.
Carol was the sister of the late Francis Campanella, the late Alberta Murphy, and the late AnneMarie Perry.
She leaves several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Calling hours are Tuesday, December 9, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Wednesday, December 10, at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA.
