Judith A. Kraus, 66, of Pequot Avenue, Warwick RI passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Finlay) Hamel.
Born in Providence, she resided in Glocester and more recently in Warwick.
She was a respiratory therapist in RI and CT.
She was the proud mother of Christopher Banno and daughter in law Laura Chechel and loving grandmother to Bryce Chechel of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by her sisters: Jean Judd (William), Jane Amsden (Fayette), Joan Hatton (Kim Krajczynski), Jill Hamel and her brothers: Joseph Hamel (Patricia), Jonathon Hamel (Jennifer), and Raymond Hamel (Severn Mitchell). She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces. Judie was predeceased by her nephews Jonathon and Thomas Hamel.
A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4-6pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
