Worcester – Thomas A. Auger, 67, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in the Hermitage Healthcare Center in Worcester on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
Thomas is survived by his two sons, Robert Auger and Joseph Auger both of Worcester; a brother, Michael Auger of Westminster, MA; two sisters, Carol Upgard of Oxford, MA and Linda Jewell of St. Petersburg, FL; his best friend and former wife, Cheryl Auger of Worcester; a grandchild, Deven Auger and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Auger was born in Worcester, son of the late Bruce and Janice (Skeats) Auger and graduated from the former Worcester Boys Trade High School where his focus was on cabinet making.
Thomas worked as a machinist for over 27 years at the Berlin Corporation and then worked at the Metso Company in Worcester before he finally retired. He enjoyed woodworking and loved to take rides on his motorcycle, but he always looked forward to traveling with his family.
Funeral services are being held privately under the direction of Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester, MA 01610.
