William C. Small
September 1, 1963–November 22, 2025
The family of William C. Small sadly announces his passing on November 22. Born in Dorchester, MA, Bill was the son of the late Rosalie A. (White) Small and Robert J. Small. Raised in Canton, MA, Bill graduated from Canton High School in 1981 and moved to Lakeville shortly thereafter. He enjoyed saltwater fishing with his friends as well as off-roading, and then repairing, his 1972 Chevy Blazer. He was an avid sports fan.
Mr. Small leaves his siblings Rose Bernard of New London, NH, and her former husband Lawrence of Canton, MA, Steven T. Small and his wife Elyse of Land of Lakes FL, and Sarah C. Titus and her husband Gary of Canton. He leaves three stepsiblings: Michael J. Canale and his wife Allison of Belgrade Lakes, ME, Brian E. Canale and his wife Theresa of Marlboro, MA, and Nancy C. Patterson of Duxbury MA. He also leaves six nieces and nephews: Casey Bernard, Shannon Bernard, Louis Titus and his fiancée Geralyn Comer, Caroline Titus, Benjamin Small and Hannah Small and one grandniece, Nora Titus.
In addition, he leaves his extended family at JANCO Sales & Service. Bill was passionate about his work as a technician and felt a strong responsibility in educating the next generation of maintenance professionals. His family is grateful to Ed and his crew for their exceptional support in the final months.
