Lifelong resident of Dedham, passed away on December 1, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Dockham. Dear sister of Paul Galvin and his wife Janet of Dedham, Jean Clark and her late husband Dean of Dedham, Judith Dorn and her husband John of East Sandwich, Carol Keefe and her husband Peter of Yarmouthport, and the late Andrew D. Galvin III, and Carl Galvin. Mary had a fondness for her step-children and grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, in particular Theresa Long and David Clark who helped her through this long journey.
Mary was a retired dedicated nurse at Norwood Hospital for 40 years.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Friday, December 5th from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, December 6th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St. Dedham, MA 02026.
