John R. Larsen, 84, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday December 1, 2025, in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. He was born on August 7, 1941 in Exeter, NH, a son of the late James and Anne (Ross) Larsen. John just moved to Derry from Daytona Beach FL to be closer to family. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Miller-Leaman in Daytona Beach, FL for 25+ years. John was an avid car enthusiast and loved all things to do with cars.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Linda (Locke) Larsen; his daughter Wendy (Richard) Vasconcellos; his son, Keith (Denise) Larsen; four grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Christina Bundza, George Vasconcellos and Karlee Kurdt; seven great grandchildren; as well as many nieces. Nephews and extended family.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 1 – 3 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
