BUXTON – Brenda Verostick, age 69, passed away on December 1, 2025, at her home after navigating glioblastoma for two years. She was born in Framingham, Ma on December 2, 1955, daughter of late Amos and Mary Holt. To say Brenda loved children is an understatement. She got a degree in early childhood education and initially worked at a few daycare centers. She then opened Happy Hours Home Daycare in Buxton which she ran for almost 20 years while also raising her own two children. She later worked as a secretary at Waltz and Sons Propane for 17 years until her retirement. Brenda is predeceased by her brother, Doug Holt and her sister, Bonnie Kershaw. Brenda is survived by her husband - Michael Verostick; their children – Todd Verostick and his wife Holly of Onalaska, TX and Jessica Wang and her husband Kevin of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She has five grandchildren who were her world: Keagan and Abigail Verostick as well as Madison, Keoni, and Kaian Wang. She is also survived by her two best friends who were like sisters to her Sue Waltz and Deb Fournier. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring in York, Maine.
