LIMERICK -- Timothy “Tim” Andrew Dunbar, age 62, went to Heaven on December 2, 2025, at his mother’s home after a battling cancer for several months. He was born in Portland, Maine on May 9, 1963, the day before his father’s birthday! Tim is the son of the late Bruce Dunbar and his mother Kathryn (Manzo) Dunbar, who is alive and well.
After graduating from Stevens Christian School, Tim joined the U.S. Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division. Later, he took courses to become a draftsman and worked for many years at Pratt-Whitney.
Tim was an avid fan of New England sports teams and enjoyed watching his boys play soccer, football, and baseball. He liked cars, and, shortly before his death, he told his older brother that he hoped there would be better vehicles in Heaven.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Jessica Berry; his children -- Cameron Dunbar, Christian Dunbar, Bryan Oliver, Cooper Dunbar, and Connor Dunbar (17 months old); his mother, Kathryn Dunbar; his brothers Daniel Dunbar and Douglas Dunbar; and his favorite sister, Beth (Dunbar) Hancock.
At Timothy’s request, there will be no formal funeral service. Prayers for the family are much appreciated.
