Catherine Mary Acerra, 83, of Dover, NH, passed away Sunday November 30, 2025 in the Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover. She was born on May 8, 1942 in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Arrigo) Quartarone.
She is survived by her three sons, Peter M. Acerra, John J. Acerra, and David C. Acerra; grandson Alexander D. Acerra and granddaughter Emilienne E. Acerra; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Catherine is predeceased by her husband Mark F. Acerra in 2023 and her son, Thomas J. Acerra in 1971.
The immediate family will be mourning in private and no formal services are being planned at this time. Catherine will be interred at the St. Michael's Cemetery in Boston, Mass. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
