
William A. (Gielazauskas) Gill age 89 of Salem, NH, died Monday at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home, Fremont, NH.
He was born in Lawrence, Am, and was a life long resident of Salem, NH, where he graduated from Woodbury High School in 1936.
Mr. Gill word for the Teamsters at Monarch Foods in Boston, MA, where he worked for over 20 years. He was a Sgt. In the US Army during World War II. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH, and a member of the Slips & Clutches Square Dance Group. He also taught boating classes for the US Power Squadron Merrimack Valley Chapter.
He was predeceased by his wife Ann (Simard) Gill
He is survived by 1 Daughter: Carole Austin-Savard of Salem, NH
1 Son: Robert Gill of Salem, NH
1 Sister: Olga & her Husband Donald Boland of Salem, NH
7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 7 at 10 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
