HIRAM – Bobbi-Jo Roma (Eastman), 54, of Carmine, Texas, passed away on Wednesday,
November 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bobbi-Jo was born on
September 20, 1971, in Portland, Maine, to the late Richard Eastman and Susan White
(Metcalf). She was a graduate of Sacopee Valley High School in Hiram, Class of 1989.
Bobbi-Jo was a bright spirit who brought warmth and energy wherever she went. She had a
deep love for animals and always had her beloved dogs by her side. She enjoyed DIY
projects and had a creative touch in everything she did. She also loved to dance and could
often be found enjoying music with friends and family. Bobbi-Jo loved cooking and baking,
particularly during the Christmas season. Family and friends always looked forward to her
gift boxes filled with delicious homemade treats. Every Christmas morning, you could
count on receiving her famous banana nut bread. Above all, she cherished being a “Mimi”
and adored every moment spent with her grandsons.
Bobbi-Jo was predeceased by her father, Richard Eastman, and her grandparents, Donald
and Lois Metcalf, and Clifford and Ethel Eastman. She is survived by her daughter, Angela
Johnson and her wife, Angela Dang, of Brunswick; her daughter, Desirea Johnson and her
fiancé, Noah Withee; and her three cherished grandsons, Bentley, Ashton, and Crew
Withee; of Greene. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Denise Metayer, who was
always by her side; her brother, Randy Eastman; and her mother, Susan White.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00
p.m., followed by a time for sharing special Bobbi-Jo stories at 2 PM at Poitras, Neal & York, 71 Maple Street, Cornish.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobbi-Jo’s name to the American Cancer
Society.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
