Obituary

CHICOPEE – Kenneth R. “Kenny” Piquette, 67, of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Monday, December 1, 2025. He passed into Eternal Life at Agawam East Rehab and Nursing surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on February 22, 1958, a beloved son of the late Raymond A. Piquette, Sr. and Katherine (Ahern) Piquette. He was raised in West Springfield, graduated from West Springfield High School where he held many track records and had moved to Chicopee in 1980 where he lived the remainder of his life. He was employed as a machinist for over 20 years at Hutchins Tool and Engineering in Springfield and later worked at Precision EDM in Springfield. He was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church and a member of the Fairview Council 4044 Knights of Columbus, both in Chicopee. An avid runner, he enjoyed hiking and cheering on his New England Patriots. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Tammy M. (Fugere) Piquette. They were married on June 17, 1983 at the Sisters of Providence Chapel in Holyoke and were blessed with over 42 years of happiness together. He also leaves his four loving children, Nathaniel K. Piquette and his wife, Samantha of Rome, NY, Christina G. Piquette of Chicopee, Derek K. Piquette and his partner, Dylan Chartier of Westfield and Giuliana M. Piquette of Chicopee; his two cherished grandchildren, Adeline and August; his two bonus grandsons, Dominic and Noah; his two dear brothers, Raymond A. Piquette, Jr. and his wife, Pauline, of Wilbraham and Steven M. Piquette and his wife, Ann Marie of Springfield; his two dear sisters, Nancy M. Cook of Venice, FL and Janice M. Jacque and her husband, David of Southampton; his loving father in law and mother in law, Gerald and Johanna (Cavanaugh) Croisetiere of Westfield; his three dear brothers in law, Lester Goff of Huntington, Richard Dusseault and his wife, Jeannette of Holyoke and William Croisetiere and his wife, Julie of Dighton his dear sister in law, Pamela Balch and her husband, Doug, of Southampton; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his dear infant brother, Joseph Piquette; his dear sister, Christine Goff; and his dear nephew, Drew Jacque. His family will receive friends on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
