Dolores Marie (Muise) MacLellan, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025. She grew up in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, and attended Holy Redeemer School and Holy Redeemer Church.
Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Daniel MacLellan of Southwest Margaree, Nova Scotia, Canada, and Brockton, MA. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Bessie Muise of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. She is remembered by many nieces and nephews throughout Nova Scotia, Canada, as well as nephews Jerry, Connie, and Alexander Spillane.
She was the sister of the late Rosella Kennedy, Wilfred Muise, Paul Muise, Albert Muise, and Alice Muise, all of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Dolores was the loving mother of Rose Costello and Patricia Stone, and cherished mother-in-law of Ralph (Rocky) Stone. She was the devoted grandmother of Kristi (Costello) Andrews and her husband Robert Andrews, and Ryan Costello and his wife Amy Costello. Dolores adored her seven great-grandchildren: Olivia, Jackson, and Reese Andrews; Kyleigh and Kennedy Dalton-Costello; and Harper and Avery Costello.
In her earlier years, Dolores worked at Harris Nursing Home and Braemoor Nursing Home in Brockton. She especially enjoyed playing cards with her son-in-law, Ralph (“Rocky”) Stone.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West Street, Brockton, MA. Mourners are asked to gather directly at the church.
