Rolland Rodier, age 102, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025 at home in Rehoboth, MA surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 8, 1923 in Holyoke, son of the late Hector and Alphonsine (Heroux) Rodier. Rolland was a communicant of the former St George Parish. He worked at Savage Arms for 42 years before he retired in 1986. He is predeceased by his wife Doris (LaBelle) Rodier who passed away in 2013; two brothers, Armand and Lucien Rodier and three sisters, Lena Chabot, Dora Ducharme and Ida Rodier. He is survived by two daughters, Denise Londraville and her husband Eddie of Chicopee and Claire Bigos and her husband Bill of Chicopee; one sister, Yvette Rivest of Easthampton; five grandchildren, Christopher Murphy and his fiancé Dana, Shannon Murphy and her fiancé Luke, James Bigos and his wife Andrea, Michael Bigos and Jennifer Jodoin and her fiancé Michael Tweedlie; seven great grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Monday, December 8, 2025 from 8:30 – 10:30 at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian burial in Mary Mother of Hope Church at 11:00 AM.
