Paul P. Simpson, 69, of Dracut, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital. Born in Somerville on August 7, 1956, Paul was the beloved son of Otis Simpson and the late Agnes (King) Simpson, and he remained a proud resident of the area throughout his life.
A hardworking and devoted family man, Paul owned Simpson Brothers Moving & Storage, where he spent many years working side by side with his father and later with his sons. His work ethic, kindness, and steady presence defined him, both in business and in life.
Paul found joy in the simple, meaningful moments—tending to his lawn, nurturing his plants and flowers, and caring for the home he took great pride in. He cherished time spent at his beach house in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, where he loved relaxing outdoors, enjoying the ocean breeze, and sharing days at the beach with his family. Those sunny memories, filled with laughter and love, will forever be treasured.
Paul is survived by his father, Otis, and his devoted wife of 47 years, Kim (Mallory) Simpson, with whom he built a beautiful life in Dracut. He leaves behind his daughter, Casey Simpson, and her partner Michelle Torres of Dracut; his three sons, Paul Simpson and his wife Erin of Pelham, NH, Kevin Simpson of Pelham, NH, and Sean Simpson and his wife Stephanie of Milford, NH; and his sister, Debra Simpson of Arlington, MA.
Most lovingly known as Grampy, Paul’s heart belonged to his seven grandchildren—Maeve, Mia, Madison, James, Patrick, Jack, and Tyler—who brought him endless pride, joy, and smiles. His love for them was immense and unwavering. Paul leaves behind a legacy of family, hard work, and quiet, steady love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the lives he touched.
