Marion E Davis (Huygens) passed away peacefully at her Medford home in the company of her loving family on Friday, November 28, 2025. She was 87. Born in Cambridge and raised in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Cyril and Elizabeth (O'Connor) Huygens.
Marion graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School in Charlestown and attended Charlestown Community College. She loved Charlestown and considered herself a "Townie" forever.
A Medford resident for over 60 years, she and her late husband, Earle, raised their sons here. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Marion worked for many years as a secretary in an engineering firm. She was always primarily devoted to her family and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling in her younger years and was very active at the Medford Senior Center.
The beloved wife of the late Earle F. “Buddy” Davis, Jr., who passed away in 2019, she was a devoted mother to Earle S. Davis and his wife Deborah, John F. Davis and his wife Cheryl, and William J. Davis and his wife Jill. She was a loving grandmother to Nicole, Danny, Kristen, Brittney, Mark, Christian and Bailey. She was a loving great-grandmother to Christopher and Chloe. Marion was preceded in death by her brother John Huygens and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Thursday morning, December 4th from 10-11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford with a funeral service in the funeral home at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
