Lucie A. “Titi” Coutu 90 formerly of 49 Dean St. died Sunday in the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Willie Coutu and Ernest Carreau. Mrs. Coutu was born in Blackstone MA a daughter of the late Alfred and Leda (Lemay) St. Germain. Mrs. Coutu worked as an attendant at the Wrentham State School for sixteen years retiring in 1976. She was a member of the former St. Louis Sr. Citizens.
Mrs. Coutu is survived by a sister Viola Ducharme of Woonsokcet, a nephew and caretaker Robert St. Germain, a niece Vivian Gauthier and several other nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Emile, Henry, and Alfred St Germain, Leda Vallee, Lena Bell, Exelia Lambert, Aurore Verhulst, and Lily Lee.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are prior to Funeral Mass.
