Steven Salvador Guzman Aguasvivas, age 24, passed away on November 16, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. Born on July 19, 2001, in the Dominican Republic, Steven was a compassionate and honorable young man who dedicated his life to service, faith, and family. A proud Specialist (SPC) in the United States Army, Steven served with courage and unwavering commitment. He graduated from Braintree High School and was a beloved and active member of his parish community. His kindness, warmth, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Steven Salvador Guzman Reyes and Belki Altagracia Aguasviva Ovalle; his brother, Albert Alexander Guzman Aguasviva; his sister, Sarabell Guzman Aguasviva; and his wife, Nya Ann Guzman. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family, friends, fellow soldiers, and all who loved him. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church 97 South St. Jamaica Plain on Friday November 28 from 6-8 PM. After 8 PM there will be an all-night vigil in the church that will extend throughout the night. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Thomas Aquinas Church on Saturday November 29 at 9:30 am. Interment with Military Honors will then take place at Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.

Nacido el 19 de julio de 2001 en la República Dominicana, Steven fue un joven compasivo y honorable que dedicó su vida al servicio, la fe y la familia. La visita para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia de Santo Tomás de Aquino, ubicada en 97 South St., Jamaica Plain, el viernes 28 de noviembre de 6 a 8 p.m. Después de las 8 p.m., habrá una vigilia nocturna en la iglesia que se extenderá durante toda la noche. Una Misa Funeral se celebrará en la Iglesia de Santo Tomás de Aquino el sábado 29 de noviembre a las 9:30 a.m. El entierro con Honores Militares se llevará a cabo posteriormente en el Cementerio Mount Wollaston, en Quincy.
