Jeffrey J. Cordeiro Sr. Of Whitman died on November 23, 2025, at home surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren after a long illness. He was 74 years old.
Born in Weymouth. He was the son of the late John and Virginia Cordeiro and stepson of the late Stella Cordeiro. He was a 1970 graduate from Norfolk County Agricultural High School. He was a member of the Local 4 Union of Operating Engineers and was a heavy equipment operator for 40 years.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Susan Cordeiro. His children; Sherry Rollins of Whitman, Jeffrey Cordiero Jr. And his wife Erina of Rochester and Kimberly Cordeiro of Whitman. He was a beloved Grandfather aka “Boo” to Christopher Cordeiro and his fiancée Amanda Spaulding of Whitman, Brian and Jessica Rollins of Whitman, and Cadence and Oliver Cordeiro of Rochester. He is also survived by his “Brother from another mother” Tony Centrella and his wife, Cece of Abington and two special people who also called him “Boo” Audrina Drosos and Josh Spaulding of Whitman, and many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Jeff spent most of his life enjoying time with his family. Jeff enjoyed camping, taking trips to Disney, going on cruises with his family and friends, going to the casino and having family and friends over for holiday parties and cookouts. Jeff’s favorite pastime was playing golf. He was a member of the Rockland Golf Course for many years.
A special loving thank you to Kellie and Marty Spaulding for all the “Boo” gifts. Homemade cookies and gift cards. He enjoyed them all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral service on Sunday December 7th at 1:00pm at the Blanchard Funeral Home, Plymouth Street, Route 58 rotary Whitman, MA. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Jeff’s life gathering at the Rockland Golf Course, 276 Plain Street, Rockland, MA.
