Obituary

Deo T. Quach, 71, of Worcester died Sunday, November 23rd in the Hermitage Healthcare Center. Her husband, Muoi Huynh died in 2003. She leaves her son, Phuong Quach and his fiancé, Fariba Safarady; her daughter, Nana To and her husband, Dick of Holden; her grandson, Caleb To; a brother; and two sisters.
Deo was born in An Hoa Rach Gia, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States, where she built a warm and welcoming life rooted in kindness and connection. A true social butterfly, she had a gift for conversation and could brighten anyone’s day with her friendly nature. She loved meeting new people, sharing stories, and making those around her feel seen and appreciated.
An animal lover at heart, Deo especially enjoyed feeding the birds, finding joy in watching them gather each day. She cherished her daily walks and the peaceful moments she found while spending time in nature. Whether listening to the rustle of the trees or watching the world around her, she carried a deep appreciation for the simple, beautiful parts of life.
Deo will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of animals, and the warmth she brought to everyone she encountered. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Her visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by cremation in Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester.
