John Frederick Gannon, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025.
Born on May 10, 1962, in Cambridge, John remained deeply connected to the community where he grew up. His life both began and ended in the same city, surrounded by the familiar neighborhoods and memories that shaped his journey.
John is survived by his daughters and grandchildren, who will carry his memory with them always. He was one of six children born to Joseph and Annette Gannon. One sibling preceded him in death, and his remaining siblings continue to hold him close in their hearts.
John attended Cambridge Public Schools and was a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He will be remembered with warmth by all whose lives he touched.
A memorial Mass in John’s honor will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Saint Malachy Parish, 99 Bedford Street, Burlington, MA 01803.
