Obituary

Lindley (Lenny) Alonzo Bonner was born on November 24,1935 in Danforth, ME, and passed from this life into the Presence of His Savior on November 23, 2025. He was born and raised in Danforth Maine, “way up near the Canadian border.” His father was Milo Alonzo Bonner and mother was Abbie (Randall) Bonner.
Lenny had a distinguished military career serving in three different branches of the military. Lenny first served in the Airforce in 1953 in Germany as a medic, then served in the Army in 1958, and again in 1961. He later served in the Coast Guard for many years. Lenny was a nationally recognized marksman with several weapons (esp. 22 & 44) and traveled regularly in competitions, winning countless awards.
Lenny leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Diane Aloha Elliott, his stepson Steven Treat (wife Rachel), his stepdaughter Melody Conlon (husband Matthew), his grandchildren: Molly, Megan, and Melissa Conlon and Nathan Treat. Floyd, his older brother, his wife Marie along with several nieces and nephews, as well as other beloved relatives have predeceased Lenny.

Service times are as follows: 10:30 am viewing, followed by an 11:30 am service at the Conley Funeral Home, Brockton Ma.
Internment will take place at the Bourne National Memorial Cemetery, Bourne Ma. at 1:45pm.
