BRATTLEBORO, VT ---- Sandra Jean (Szulborski) McCauley, 82, of Pleasant Valley Road, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at her residence.
Sandra was born on November 18, 1942, in Greenville, MA, the daughter of the late Edward V. and Sandra Jean (Bolden) Szulborski.
She was part of the Brattleboro Community for 64 years. Sandy had many interests. Horses were an early passion. Her first horse, Scarlet, led to building a barn and more ponies and horses for her children. She was a member of the Brattleboro Riding Club and supported the Monadnock Pony Club with Christian and Shari’s participation.
Her long involvement with The Brattleboro Garden Club gave her great joy. Sandy was proud of achieving her National Flower Show Judge status and always loved in competing in flower shows.
Sandra is survived by her son, Christian McCauley and his wife, Andrea, her daughter Shari Pulitano and her partner Dominic, granddaughters Kelci and Keria Lewandowski, and brothers Johny Gogel and his wife Juanita and Tony Gogel and his wife Veronica. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Jane Skibneowski.
