Obituary

Auburn – Edmond L. Cusson, 76, of Auburn died on Saturday September 2, in the Lifecare Center of Auburn after a long battle with multiple myeloma.

Mr. Cusson is survived by his wife of fifty years Colette M.L. (Bernier) Cusson of Auburn; a daughter Diane C. Guerin and her husband Robert of Groton, MA; three grandchildren Julie, LeeAnn and Daniel; one brother Paul A. Cusson of Auburn; three sisters Florence L. MacMaster of Fort Myers, FL, Doris R. Desrosiers of Auburn and Claire V. Phillipo of Oxford and many nephews and nieces. Mr. Cusson was born in Auburn son of Ferdinand and Clara (Contois) Cusson and is predeceased by three brothers Rene, Emile and Henry Cusson and two sisters Beatrice A. Montville and Lorena V. Barber.

Mr. Cusson graduated from Auburn High School and New England School of Accounting. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Japan during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Cusson worked for O’Coins in Worcester as an office manager and previously worked for Gilman Brothers Pharmaceuticals.

He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church where he served as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. Mr. Cusson also belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council #4158 in Auburn, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking and traveling.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday September 6, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are on Tuesday September 5, from 4 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
