In loving memory of Charles Louis Pini
Charlie was born (May 8, 1943) and was himself raised, and then fostered his own family, on Adams St, in the Edgeworth neighborhood of Malden Massachusetts; and passed peacefully in his home in Land o lakes Florida, on Monday November 17, 2025.
He was the son of (deceased) Charles Mario Pini and Jennie (Longo) of Malden. He was predeceased by his longtime companion Geraldine Coughlin of Sommerville. Charlie was a devoted Father of three and loving (if not doting even) grandfather of three. He will be missed dearly by “his boys”; Charlie Pini (Chucky) and his partner Denise Meadows of Fitzwilliam NH, Douglas Pini (Dougie) and his wife Tricia (Swan) of Salem MA, and Robert Pini (Robbie) and his wife Harmony (Demule) of Wesley Chapel FL along with his grandchildren Daniel Pini (Danny) and his wife Katelyn (Shappy) of Waterbury CT, Jacob Pini of Sommerville MA, and Casper Pini and his partner Camdin Taylor of Fitzwilliam NH as well as his close friend Judy Magedanz of FL.
Charlie was well known and loved, far and wide, and called “friend” by many. He gave countless hours and many years of involvement as Scoutmaster of Troop 623 (Malden/Medford) with Scouting America (formerly B.S.A.) in the 1970s-1980s, Malden Youth Hockey Coach, Malden Highschool Band Parent, and Member and Officer of the Order of Sons of Italy in America – Medford Lodge 1359.
Visitation will be held at the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St. Malden MA on Tuesday November 25th from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody MA.
